Turmoil RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy w/DX2 Overview Designed from the ground up to cause an uproar on any track, the Turmoil™ RTR from Sportwerks™ offers more race proven features and performance than any other ready-to-run buggy in its class. The new FCG (Forward Center of Gravity) chassis design moves the engine and center differential forward for more balanced handling across nearly any surface, even in high-speed turns. Hard-anodized threaded aluminum shocks soak up the terrain while rubber shock boots protect the 3.5mm shafts and seal from moisture and dirt. And lightweight, high strength aluminum chassis parts reduce chassis flex for added stability and control.
The Turmoil RTR also features Sportwerks’ .26 V2 Engine and 007 HT Tuned Pipe, as well as the innovative, crystal-free DX2 radio system from Spektrum™. With these pro-level features and more, the Turmoil RTR from Sportwerks is “designed for disorder.”
Spektrum DX2 Computer Radio System Spektrum’s preinstalled and adjusted DX2 radio features digital trims, sub-trims, steering dual rate, end point adjustment and 2-model memory, all with the convenience of crystal-free DSM® technology. An SR3000 DSM receiver and Z-590 high-torque steering servo (85 oz/in of torque) are included.
Durable Chassis and Accessories With the 3mm 6061-T6 aluminum Forward Center of Gravity (FCG) chassis design, the engine and center differential are moved forward in the chassis, providing more balanced handling. An Ackerman adjustable steering rack improves turning response, and aluminum inner suspension mounts and beefy torque rod stiffeners add strength.
Push-Button Handheld Electric Starter The convenient handheld electric starter features a gear-driven high-torque 550 motor powered by a 7.2V car pack (battery not included).
Prepainted and Trimmed Body The sleek new body comes prepainted and trimmed with window stickers applied. A Sportwerks decal sheet is also included.
SWK .26 V2 Engine and 007 HT Tuned Pipe The Sportwerks V2 racing engine features a 7-port design, turbo crankshaft with flow-ported passageways and lightened crank weight. Additional performance features on the V2 include a knife-edge connecting rod, high-quality Swiss-made bearing that seals the engine, and an oversized aluminum heat sink head to help optimize cooling.
